Being thankful for the underappreciated

When you are asked, What are you thankful for? We rarely answer with im thankful that "I got an F on my test" or "my dog died." We don't tend to think of these as things as things to be grateful for. We don't think about the lessons we have learned and how we have grown through these experiences but we really should. We should sit at that thanksgiving table and be thankful for how God has led us through these harder times to become the, hopefully, closer to and more like Jesus.
So when you sit at the kitchen table with your family later think about the things you aren't often thankfuk for.
