Our Flood

In Genesis God noticed how wicked and cruel humanity became he took the one faithful man (and his family) and had him build an ark to save himself. He then sent a flood and killed almost all of life on earth but, one of each species. And that was how God hit the reset button on earth. God made a covenant and promised he would never kill all living things again (Genesis 9:8-11).

Humanity, again, has become wicked and sinful. He did this by sending us a virus that HE KNEW (used people to make happen) would cause us to react with “quartentineing” ourselves at home. This time that we are at home and bored with nothing to do causes us to search for that full-ness we have been missing.

We have all learned new things and found things we enjoy personally but God has been calling out to us. He sees that we have free time and is saying, “Come talk to me I miss you.” But, we keep pushing him off and ignoring this calling because “oh I’m tired” or “I will read my Bible tommorow.”

The truth is that we are not too tired to read our bible and you might/might not read your Bible tomorrow, you might not even be alive tommorow, and God is reminding us that IT IS TIME TO RESET. It is time to run back into His Warm arms and be foregiven. It is time to repent our sinful ways, once again (or for first time) because we have strayed from our father, Lord of All and we are not doing so well. We need him and we have been so busy that we can’t hear him over our busy lives. We forget to be still and listen for God because it is hard to hear his whisper in the loud busy times of our lives.

Now is the perfect time to turn back to God and run into his arms. Just take this free time to open up that bible again and reflect on your life and how you should be living it. Are you fully devoting your life to God or half God and half sing? Try to set a time everyday to be still and listen to God through the loud, busy times and hear his whisper. Listen to God, He wants to talk, He loves you soooo much. Bonne nuit ❤️
